Countdown to Extra Life #31
Well, this is it! The last game of the countdown! This was actually the easiest game to place on the countdown. I knew form the first five minutes of planning that this would be the last game I would talk about. It's my favorite game, and probably the one game on this list I've played more than any of the others. Its my comfort food. The game that I can always go back to. The game that will never age, at least not to me. I am of course talking about The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. OoT was released on November 21st, 1998. It features Link, who is trying to save Hyrule from the clutches of the evil Ganondorf. It's a classic story, told time and time again across the Zelda franchise. But OoT was the first to due it in three-dimensions. This game was a landmark game.
